Ann Zelesky-Carol Ryan Scholarship Foundation
High school female scholar-athletes from the Worcester, MA area deserve an opportunity to succeed at the collegiate level. Our mission is to provide financial support through the AZ-CR Scholarship Foundation. We're honored to give
them a boost.
Each year, the Foundation will select two scholar-athletes to receive shcolarhsip funds to assist with the financial demands of their first year of college. Worcester County female basketball and softball players who are seniors in high school are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
The Ann Zelesky-Carol Ryan Scholarship Foundation was established to honor the profound contributions of Ann (Ash) Zelesky and Carol (Blute) Ryan, two trailblazing educators and coaches who have shaped the landscape of athletics and education in Massachusetts. Their commitment to student-athletes, leadership, and mentorship has left an indelible mark on the communities they have served.
A Lasting Legacy
The Ann Zelesky-Carol Ryan Scholarship Foundation was created by former St. Peter Marian athletes, “The SPM Guardian Gals,” to honor these two remarkable women and their unwavering commitment to student-athletes. This scholarship will support young individuals from the Worcester County area who exemplify leadership, dedication, and sportsmanship—the same values that Ann Zelesky and Carol Ryan instilled in their students and athletes throughout their careers.
Their combined impact on athletics and education will continue to inspire and empower future generations, leaving a legacy of excellence that will never be forgotten.
